The First Year students have been placed into several secondary schools across the country early last week, and students (Form 1’s) are expected to report to school on the 20th of February for their necessary prospectus, and these students are also expected to report for academic work on the 27th of February.
However, there have been concerns from parents who complained about the short ample time given to them to prepare their wards.
Some parents in the Central Region of Ghana have accused the Ghana Education Service as not being considerate of the well-being of the students. “If you care about the students, why not give the parents enough time to prepare the kids one of the parents questioned.”
Though the Form 1’s students are to start academic work on the 27th of January, there might be a change again in the start of the academic work of the Form 1’s.
