President-elect John Mahama has urged citizens not to let power and authority consume them. He pledged his loyalty and devotion to the nation, emphasizing that his love for money and authority will not compromise his intentions for Ghana.
Dr. Mahama expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for their support during the elections. He reflected on his 2016 election defeat, which led to a decline in visits from certain individuals. However, he assured the public that his presidency will not be marked by pride or disregard for the Ghanaian people.
Instead, Dr. Mahama vowed to serve the nation diligently, stressing that his commitment to Ghana’s well-being remains unwavering. This declaration was met with enthusiasm from Ghanaians, who expressed their confidence in his leadership.
Dr. Mahama also emphasized the importance of unity and organization in addressing the nation’s challenges. He acknowledged that his election victory is not solely about personal achievement but about creating a comfortable and prosperous Ghana for all citizens.
