The American Rapper is one of the celebrities who touchdown Ghana this December to enjoy his festive period and Ghanaians seem to welcome the celebrity rapper as he is seen with his motorbike riding with Ghanaian motorists on a high speed in the country’s capital Accra.

Ironically, the unforeseen happened. The same motorists who were riding with him, one of the them was able to outsmart the rapper to steal his iphone. MeekMill made this announcement on his social media handle on Thursday 29th December 2022 that his iphone is missing and pleaded with the youths who welcomed him to please return the phone back because he’s got important documents on the phone.

Same appeal to the youth was also made by a compatriot Ghanaian artiste Shatta Wale pleading the street to return his phone because MeekMill is an inspiration to many on the streets.

Luck finds MeekMill as the Ghana Police Service are able to retrieve the missing phone for the American rapper, and MeekMill has also thanked Ghanaians for the love shown to return his phone.

This is a statement by the Ghana Police Service

“The Police have arrested one suspect and retrieved a mobile phone that was stolen from Meek Mill, an American hip-hop artist.

The suspect Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa was arrested Friday, December 30, 2022, at his hideout in Accra. He is currently in Police custody and will be taken through the due process of the law.

The victim, Meek Mill, reported his phone stolen in Accra on December 29, 2022.”
