King Mitchy, popular Instagram philanthropist, posted a video of a public school she claimed she renovated in just six days. Nigerians celebrated her. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, she turned on activist and NGO founder VeryDarkMan (VDM) on her Instagram story, calling him “werey,” questioning what he had been doing with his NGO funds, and challenging him to hand her \u20a650 million so she could renovate four more schools. VDM seemed bothered but then he came for her neck. He accused Mitchy of being a political tool, claiming Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, had funded her with \u20a610 million in 2023 and another \u20a615 million for her projects. He argued that money would have been better spent pressuring the Minister of Education to do his actual job. He also revealed he had personally been offered \u20a6600 million by the APC to fall in line and turned it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mitchy’s response was to post a private chat with the Ooni of Ife, bragging that even a king had to come find her number. This elicited raised an eyebrows. Things got even messier. A content creator named Livinus visited the renovated school on camera and found barely any work done. A few window changes. Mitchy fired back with payment receipts, insisting 90 windows had already been paid for and that full work would begin Monday.Then VDM surfaced a clip from Carter Efe’s old livestream where Mitchy appeared to claim Seyi Tinubu had given her over \u20a6100 million. Mitchy said it was just a skit. Carter Efe released his own video on his knees, swearing there was never any plan between them. Someone is lying and the internet has already decided who.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VDM then dropped a screenshot of a private chat between Mitchy and his own friend Koko Pee, where Mitchy allegedly admitted she was scared of VDM, said something heavy was coming his way, and claimed she was already begging Seyi to intervene. VDM declared his life was being threatened and put both Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu on notice.Overwhelmed, with her business page taken down by the Ratel family and the dragging showing no signs of stopping, Mitchy went live on TikTok visibly distressed. On camera, she drank from a sachet of Hypo bleach before her assistant intervened and she passed out. VDM, in a moment that was equal parts shocking and irresponsible, mimicked her on his own live.Both management teams then announced their principals had died. Prime Care Hospital, named in the announcement, firmly denied ever admitting Mitchy. Her mother, on the other hand, appeared on TikTok, praying and declaring “back to sender” to everyone who had wished death on her child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amid all the chaos, Seyi Tinubu broke his silence via Instagram story. He confirmed he met Mitchy once, publicly, and did provide financial support toward her NGO, the same way he has supported many young Nigerians. He denied any private arrangement or impropriety and accused VDM of deliberately using this situation to attack his reputation. He called it bullying and said he would not be intimidated.What he did not address is why, if the support was routine and transparent, it became the centerpiece of a story about political manipulation. That question is still very much on the table.As of now, Mitchy’s actual condition remains unconfirmed. Her management says she’s gone. Her mother says otherwise. The rest of Nigeria is watching and waiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
