To that end, we are telling all our members to resume work on Monday. Every teacher should go to work on Monday. &#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He stressed &#8221;we are law abiding citizens, we have decided to obey the orders of the court and have asked our members to call off the strike and go back to the classrooms, and also ensure that the directive that the Labour Commission is giving that we engage the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relation and report to the Labour Commission on the 16th November on the issues that led to the strike in the first place, we are determined to do that in our engagement with the Ministry of Education.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ghana National Association of Teachers(GNAT), NAGRAT and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT) is taken to court by NLA for their lack of participation towards the court&#8217;s order for their return to class while they still discuss with the government on what caused their industrial action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The leaders of the union asked its members to continue staying at home because their discussion with the government was left uncompleted and midway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This meeting of the union was held on November 7.<br>A day after the meeting, the president of GNAT, Rev lssac Owusu said &#8221; I can tell you on authority that so far so good we have had a very constructive meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The parties have agreed to adjourn and resume tomorrow 2pm to continue with the deliberations.&#8221;<br>As presided over by Justice Amanda Aikins she passes a verdict for the teachers to return to the classroom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The court demands that teachers go back to classrooms after the National Labour Commission issued a restraining order to the high court against the Industrial action of the teacher union. <\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Angel Carbonou,  the president of NAGRAT he says that &#8221;we can&#8217;t disrespect the court order.
