A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for stealing a university student’s iPhone 7. The convict pleaded guilty to the crime at the Ashanti Akropong court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the police detective, the victim, Roudy Aboagye Agyemang, a 400-level student at the Akenten Appiah Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneur Development, was asleep in her apartment when the convict forced his way into her room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When she woke up and tried to struggle with him, the convict threatened to kill her with a harmful object, forcing her to hand over the phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The convict, a native of Atwima Koforidua, was caught by the victim’s neighbors, who handed him over to the Akropong police station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
