He also stated that the independent MPs cannot form a third party in parliament since they are less than seven in number. To formalize their decision, the MPs must personally write to the Speaker of the House, Bagbin, to confirm their choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaker Bagbin emphasized that the decision will only be accepted once the MPs officially notify him in writing, taking responsibility for their choice. He warned the House not to interfere with the proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly, Ghana&#8217;s parliament has rules governing party affiliation.
