The Koforidua High Court has granted an interim injunction preventing Ernest Kumi, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, from being sworn in as the Member of Parliament for the Akwatia constituency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Akwatia constituency was one of the contested seats that underwent a re-collation of results, which were eventually declared at the National Police Training School in Tesano, Accra.
