Nelson Dafeamekpor, a parliament member from South Dayi, has expressed outrage over the partial re-collation of parliamentary election results in nullified constituencies. In a recent media interview, Dafeamekpor alleged that the Electoral Commission’s (EC) re-collation process was a ploy to deprive his party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), of its rightful parliamentary seats.<\/p>\n\n\n

Dafeamekpor took issue with Afenyo-Markin, who had called on the NDC to accept the re-declared election results, saying they should not be referred to as “brothers” given the circumstances. Dafeamekpor noted that in nine constituencies, the NPP was declared the winner of parliamentary elections after the re-collation process, despite initial losses.
