Mr. Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known on screens as Guru has been exonerated in the University of Legon, and he now has the right to contest in tomorrow’s students general elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The singer who is contesting to be the SRC president in the University of Legon was disqualified weeks back due to some requirements not met.<\/p>\n\n\n

This news circulated across all social media platforms, and many of the Guru faithfuls as well as his students fans in the university expressed their disappointments and shocks. The reason Guru was disqualified was that, he is not a resident on campus, and students who are not resident on campus are not allowed to contest for any position.<\/p>\n\n\n

Guru in an interview with Captain Smart in Captain Smart Onua’s Good Morning Show expressed that, the clause that disqualifies a student not to contest for any positions has been amended, and that amendment was done more 4 years plus ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Maradona, though he stated his reasons and his points were clearly made, the EC still had to vote in his favour or against him to decide his fate. Luckily for him, the 7-member-EC-Committee all voted in his favour to contest in tomorrow’s SRC election.<\/p>\n\n\n

Guru is very happy, and he is pleading with all his fans and well wishers in the university to vote for him. He has promised to look at the accommodation problem which has become a thorn on students’ flesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
