{"id":2197,"date":"2024-08-26T22:29:11","date_gmt":"2024-08-26T22:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gistme.net\/?p=2197"},"modified":"2024-08-26T22:45:13","modified_gmt":"2024-08-26T22:45:13","slug":"wassce-candidates-sacked-from-exams-hall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gistme.net\/index.php\/2024\/08\/26\/wassce-candidates-sacked-from-exams-hall\/","title":{"rendered":"WASSCE candidates sacked from exams hall."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Invigilators of&nbsp;&nbsp;West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) sacked some students in the Greater Accra Region for arriving late at the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some Secondary Schools in the Greater Accra Region which include Labone Senior High School and others had some students of theirs sacked from the hall because they came late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WASSCE candidates wrote Social Studies today, and some students dreams of going to the university were stunted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"753\" height=\"424\" data-id=\"2210\" data-src=\"https:\/\/gistme.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/IMG_3514.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2210 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 753px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 753\/424;\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The students gave several reasons like \u201cnot feeling well, and being treated at the hospital before coming, others said, they were caught up with traffic\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Headmistress of Labone Senior High Rebecca Acorlor stated emphatically that, WAEC operates with rules, and any student who violates that, he\/she doesn\u2019t write the examination. A student must be seated 30 minutes before the examination starts to avoid any form of malpractice.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Headmistress also stressed that, that\u2019s the attitude of the students, this wasn\u2019t their first time, and there\u2019s nothing she can do about it.
