The tax bills seemed to make life harder for Kenya\u2019s citizens who are facing different financial difficulties, lack of jobs and many loopholes faced by the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadly protest by a group known as the \u201cGEN Z\u201d saw so many young men and women marched their way into the Parliament House where the meeting for the bill was to be passed.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" data-src=\"https:\/\/gistme.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/WhatsApp-Image-2024-06-26-at-17.29.31_e811ba98.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2061 lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 640px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 640\/427;width:495px;height:auto\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Military men tried their best to hold the crowd, but the boisterous crowd overpowered them, burnt down military vehicles while others went inside the parliament building, visited the kitchen, ate the food, went to the hall where the meeting was held, and made an announcement to the empty room saying, \u201cwe aren\u2019t stupid, you people are greedy!\u201d.
