The updated WASSCE date was communicated to regional directors through a circular dated March 12, 2024, signed by Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, the acting Director of Schools and Instructions Division at GES. Regional directors were urged to inform all heads of senior high schools (SHSs) about the change and to prepare candidates accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision to revise the date, although without an official reason, aims to provide candidates with ample time for preparation. Despite the adjustment, the examination process and conditions remain consistent with those of other member countries of WAEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Kapi, the Head of Public Affairs at the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), confirmed the continuation of the Ghana Only Version of the WASSCE-SC, emphasizing that the examination process remains unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2024 WASSCE Registration Date and Deadline<br>Registration for the WASSCE-SC is open from March 11 to April 19, 2024. Furthermore, WAEC assures that the results will be released on time following the revised examination schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is The 2024 WASSCE Timetable Out?<br>The 2024 WASSCE Timetable is officially not out. WAEC is yet to release the results. It is designed for students in their third year of Senior High School in West Africa and also for private candidates. The primary purposes of the WASSCE are selection for tertiary education and certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The examination is conducted twice a year, typically in May\/June for school candidates and in September\/October for private candidates. For school candidates, registration usually occurs between September and November. Schools are responsible for registering their candidates and uploading their entry data online. Entry documents, along with evidence of payment, are submitted to the Council\u2019s office. Private candidates can register online between February and May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WASSCE offers a wide range of subjects categorized into core, elective, and optional subjects.
