Growing up, I was not the best kid in terms of academics though I was a very beautiful girl and almost everybody complimented my beauty. I, Nana Adjoa (not her real name) was very sensitive about my academic comments because I was weak in academics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The typical African education society supports and recognizes students who are bright in academics and little or no attention is placed on the students who are not bright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A child born in the center of Accra, that eventually gives that child the exposure and confidence to balance the social intimidation faced by his\/her peers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My Basic School Education, my teacher never liked me because I wasn\u2019t an intelligent student in class. I am always segregated in the class by my teacher, and that played a big brain damage to my mental and intellectual faculties. I hated myself sometimes. I never liked my teacher because he was always biased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This \u201cunlike\u201d for my teacher eventually grew into a strong hatred after Sir. Enoch (not his real name) had a conversation with my mum on the phone after I completed my B.E.C.E. That day, I would have shot Mr. Enoch if I had a gun because of the harsh words he told my mum in regards to my educational career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NANA ADJOA\u2019s MUM: Sir. Enoch, Good afternoon, how are you? I would love to enroll my child Nana Adjoa at Holy Child so she can continue her Secondary Education there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SIR. ENOCH: Who? Nana Adjoa? Forget! She won\u2019t get the school, so don\u2019t trouble yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unknowing to Sir. Enoch, the phone was on loudspeaker, and I heard every tiny bit of the conversation, I cried! That soberness, made my mum felt, no matter what, I will make sure my child enrolls in HOLY CHILD to pursue her Secondary School Education because Sir. Enoch’s response also wowed her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By the grace of God, I am done with Secondary School and Tertiary as well, and I own a food business that is successfully running in Accra, and the hate for Sir. Enoch is still there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A spherical world as it seems, Nana Adjoa got to see her old friend foe Sir. Enoch whose life looked scruffy, and she made this strong statement, \u201cSir. Enoch, if only you showed me a bit of your love as a teacher and a human, I would have grown bigger than I am now though I am doing great for myself, but you went extra mile to demoralize my soul instead of motivating it. You failed as a teacher and as a human, and I will never forgive you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This statement made Sir. Enoch looked flabbergasted, and he wanted to render an apology that seems late to Nana Ajoa because she didn\u2019t let her old friend foe blink his eyes before she disappeared from his presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
