The paramount chief of Wassa-Akropong Traditional Area, Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II has placed a ban on all tricycles popularly known as pragya in Wassa-Akropong in the Western part of Ghana<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The chief stressed on the fact the number of these tricycles on the road have increased and this has also negated most youth not to engage in the schooling as the youth are preferred to get one to drive and balance the owner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The chief brought a policy of 150 tricycles to be registered in the town and an individual is entitled to register a tricycle. That brough about the fuss that resulted to a pragya rider insulting the chief. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This act yielded negative as the pragya was banned and not to be used till further notice. The dwellers are suffering transporting their products as this pragya is affordable.
